Pat & Ella will help you create the perfect Betrothal, Wedding, or Naming Ceremony. At the end of life our friends and loved ones may wish to have their life commemorated in a traditional manner with a meaningful Funeral Rite. Bringing our loved ones ashes or mortal remains home so that their bodies can lie in the place where their heart was in life is a wonderful tribute to pay to their memory.

Betrothal: This is a lovely ceremony conducted between a couple who wish to become formally engaged. It is full of magic and romance. Occasionally friends are asked to be present but most couples choose to have the ceremony between themselves under the Shamans guidance.

Handfasting: This ceremony is as old as the trees and is a beautiful way for two people to commit to a life long loving relationship. You might like to create a renewal ceremony, where you give new life to old vows in a meaningful and spiritual way. Whatever your needs are, Pat & Ella will create together with you a beautiful event to bring a sense of magic, dignity and honour to the occasion.

Naming Ceremony: “Our children will have a name, so that they are known by all” Naming is an important psychological, spiritual and emotional event in the life of a family, extended family and the community generally. No matter what age or circumstances Pat & Ella will bring their experience to make this ceremony a joyful and Inclusive event. It can be a great comfort to have this event for children who have already passed into spirit, but whom we feel need to have even the shortest life celebrated and remembered.

Funeral Rite: Death is simply an extension of life, a mere passing from one room to another. Those left behind may want to mark this important event with a ritual or ceremony and so we have the Funeral or Passing Rite. Many times a terminally ill or simply well prepared person will create this event with Pat in advance. Relatives or loved ones may wish to organize this meaningful ceremony as a mark of their affection & respect after the passing.
Bring them, their ashes or memories home to Ireland: To bring a loved one home to the place where their heart longed for in life is surely the greatest tribute of all. A scattering of the ashes as part of a ceremony in a place full of fond memories always brings a sense of ‘coming home’ and completion for those remaining here and for the one that has passed. It can be a great comfort too to have this event for children who have already passed into spirit, (before or after birth) but whom we feel need to have even the shortest life celebrated and remembered.
