About Pat and Ella
Pat Dillane Pat believes in living Shamanism and so his role is that of Pastoral
Shaman, a Shaman for the new millennium. Being available to tend to all the spiritual
and pastoral needs of those who seek comfort, support and learning is the key to his
journeys philosophy. His vocation is to pursue a life based in service to the
non-ordinary needs of all things on the planet and beyond. Pat & Ela live close
to the land; they are beekeepers and grow their own veg’ and fruit harvesting
much of their food from the wild with great respect and gratitude. All living
things are afforded every respect and opportunity to grow and be fulfilled at
cottageretreat.
Over the years Pat had a keen interest in spiritual matters in fact it was
this interest had lead to his education with the Salesian order at Ballinakill
and his interest in the St. John Of God Brothers. During his formative years he
developed a magical relationship with
crystals and what might be called the
faerie world. In adult life he formalised this interest by pursuing many courses
and workshops in many areas dealing with the non physical aspects of all life on
the planet including the planet itself. There have been many occasions during
his life that Pat has been less than proud of his behaviour. These times
remind him of his humanity and motivate him to learn more about the nature of
his personal journey. The striving to go beyond five sensory perception and the
egos need to be supreme will always be a part of his journey.
Ella Dillane
Ella Dillane, is a life long friend to those that occupy the faerie world. She
is an accomplished Faerie Artist creating many wonderful art works inspired by
the faerie realm. From Childhood she could connect with the trees and the breeze
and all things of the natural word. When she came to Ireland and met Pat she
realised that what she had was not an oddity, but a very wonderful gift.
Since her arrival here 4 years ago, from eastern Europe she has been a committed
student of the non-ordinary way, developing and honing her natural abilities.
She is an undoubted psychic, with a gift for 'knowing' what it is that needs to
be revealed. Her direct and honest manner is only enhanced by her wonderful
sense of humour and her
simple honesty.
She has a number of 3rd level qualifications including a Masters Degree in IT.
However her fondest qualification is a BA Degree in Ethnology Studies. This was
a three year study during which she investigated the many wonderful magical
'other' worlds of different cultures. She also has third level qualifications in
Japanese. She
speaks a total of 5 languages fluently. However it's her sensitivity to the
non-ordinary, non-physical world that plays a key part in the
house clearing and
other activities that she and Pat are regularly invited to perform. Ella is
currently undergoing training in aspects of
Shamanism.
